Most money advice is written by people who already have some.

I'm Rajat. I write about the part nobody films: the boring month, the account you avoid opening, the decision you make at 1am and explain to yourself later.

About

I'm not here to tell you what to buy. I don't know your life, and anyone who claims they do from a thirty-second video is selling something.

What I do is think out loud about how money actually moves through a life — what it costs to say yes, what it costs to say no, and why the spreadsheet almost never survives contact with a Tuesday.

Some of it is useful. Some of it is just me noticing things. You'll know which is which.

What I write about

  • SpendingWhere it goes, and why we lie about it.
  • SavingThe unglamorous version that actually works.
  • WorkEarning more, and what it takes out of you.
  • LivingThe stuff money was supposed to be for.
